أفاد ملتقى الجالية الفلسطينية في الدنمارك من خلال نائب رئيسه د. صلاح الدين كايد لموقع “الدنمارك 24” بخبر مفاده أن الملتقى الفلسطيني في الدنمارك تلقى رسالة من حزب القائمة الموحدة Enhedslisten حول تحديد موعد للتصويت في مجلس بلدية كوبنهاجن على اقتراح تسمية منطقة في العاصمة كوبنهاجن باسم ساحة فلسطين Palæstinas Plads. وتقع المنطقة موضوع الاقتراح بين Nørrebrogade و Hillerødgade في كوبنهاجن.
The letter stated that the Enhedslisten party has been campaigning for this name for some time and had previously submitted the proposal several times in cooperation with Palestinian associations in Denmark. However, the proposal did not receive the necessary support for discussion in the municipal council. Finally, their proposal has now gained the support of the Radikale (Radical) Party, the SF (Socialist) Party, and the Altarnativet (Alternative) Party. The Enhedslisten party concluded its letter by expressing its sincere respect for the Palestinian people.
