Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) was forced to postpone its departing flights until after 9 a.m. today, the first day of the winter break, due to a strike by employees of SGH, the company operating under SAS and responsible for baggage handling.
The strike caused SAS to postpone 17 flights today, resulting in chaos and SAS planes sitting idle on the runway at Kastrup Airport in Copenhagen.
وصرحت النقابة 3F إلى قناة TV2 بأن ذلك يعتبر “توقفاً تلقائياً عن العمل” لأن الموظفين غير راضين عن الإدارة، حيث أرسل Henrik Bay رئيس نقابة 3F في كاستروب رسالة نصية إلى TV2 كتب فيها: “ورد أن هناك ظروف فوضوية هذا الصباح. هناك استياء متراكم من حقيقة أن الإدارة أدخلت تكاليف أجور أقل وساعات عمل أطول والمزيد من العمل في عطلة نهاية الأسبوع”.
