Copenhagen police arrested an 18-year-old man after the annual high school students' Puttefest at Dyrehaven Park in Klampenborg, on the outskirts of the capital region, on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl around 1 a.m. on Friday, as the last of them were about to leave Dyrehaven, according to Per Thuesen, deputy police inspector of North Zealand police.

Puttefest is a celebration held for high school students outside of school grounds after the first week of each new academic year. This year, health authorities urged students to avoid or reduce alcohol consumption and encouraged parents to talk to their children about the dangers of drinking, focusing particularly on younger students attending the event for the first time and those with limited experience. Around 4,000 students attended the party yesterday in Dyrehaven Park, with each grade level wearing a specific color of clothing, coordinated in advance by the organizers.

Police also received another report of rape in Klampenborg, also at a private address, where they arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of raping one of his peers – but this was unrelated to the party mentioned, according to police.
