Police are deployed today and for a week in a campaign to crack down on the use of mobile phones while driving.

Police are beginning a nationwide campaign today that will run through Sunday to fine motorists who hold mobile phones in their hands to talk, write, or otherwise use them while driving. Police may also fine drivers for eating and drinking while driving.
