the main effects of the snowstorm currently hitting Denmark and the most important recommendations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An official recommendation is to avoid travel between 14:00 and 18:00 due to winter holiday traffic congestion and poor road conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rescue companies are under considerable pressure due to skidding accidents and stuck vehicles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some streets in Copenhagen were disrupted due to snow accumulation and insufficient removal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional recommendations for transportation Airport, and among the most prominent destinations whose flights have been cancelled are: Paris, Berlin, and Zurich.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Most other flights were affected by lengthy delays from Thursday evening and throughout the night due to de-icing of aircraft and delays in preparing runways.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aalborg Airport: Flights are continuing with obvious delays, but no widespread cancellations have been recorded so far.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Airlines are asking passengers to monitor flight status live and head to the airport early due to road conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Train and metro traffic<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The number of trains was reduced following coordination between Banedanmark and DSB as a result of weather forecasts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flights will be reduced, particularly between Copenhagen and Helsing\u00f8r, and Copenhagen and Kalundborg.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The S-tog train network within the capital is operating with sporadic delays and cancellations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copenhagen Metro (M1 and M2) is operating with delays due to malfunctions in the doors of some external stations as a result of snow accumulation and freezing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Buses and internal transport<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copenhagen: Most buses are temporarily stopped and returned to the garages until the morning, and some until noon, with a complete halt to line 5C.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aarhus and Horsens: Complete halt to city buses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>J\u00fcrgensland: Bus services almost completely halted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eastern Denmark: Emergency cancellation and diversion of lines within the Movia network.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Phone: A large number of flights have been cancelled and there are significant delays on operating routes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Flextrafik services were severely affected.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aarhus Letbane tram service is completely out of service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Roads and traffic accidents<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Several accidents on highways Friday morning led to partial lane closures, most notably:<br>\u2013 E20 between Middelfart and Odense: One lane closed and one lane remains open.<br>\u2013 E45 between Horsens and Aarhus Syd: Closure of the right and middle lanes.<br>\u2013 E47 near K\u00f8ge: A vehicle has broken down in the left lane.<br>\u2013 Vestmotorvejen from Ringsted towards K\u00f8ge: an accident that can be avoided with caution.<br>\u2013 E47 near Saksk\u00f8bing towards Far\u00f8: Lane closure.<br>\u2013 E47 towards Gladsaxe: Closure of Motorring 3 entrance from Roskildevej.<br>\u2013 E45 from Hobro towards Aalborg: Road closed due to an accident.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00d8resund Bridge: A parked vehicle disrupted traffic.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A large number of vehicles were reported stuck in the snow, especially in Funen, in addition to cars and trucks stuck inside Copenhagen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>shipping<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ferry traffic is continuing almost normally and has not been significantly affected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Road and weather conditions affecting traffic and public transport<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Snowdrifts have re-covered roads that were previously cleared, particularly in Nordfyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Temperatures will be between -4 and +1 degrees Celsius on Friday morning, with a heat feel as low as -10 degrees due to strong easterly winds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bornholm: Dangerous ice formations due to freezing rain and cars have been reported to have gone
