In food, mineral oil contamination can originate from materials such as packaging, lubricants in production plants, or cleaning products. Because these substances are so widespread in the environment, it is impossible to completely avoid food contamination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Many MOAH compounds are carcinogenic.
