After deep political debates over naming an area in N\u00f8rrebro in the Danish capital Copenhagen \u201cPalestine Square,\u201d the majority party in the Copenhagen City Council voted today, Monday, to implement the previously planned plan, which was postponed after the events of October 7 last year. However, the Conservatives postponed the issue to a session on 10\/3\/2024 to vote on it in the Citizens\u2019 Representative Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the majority adopting the resolution, the majority expects the resolution to be adopted on the next mentioned date, and it is expected that the name of Palestine Square \u201cPal\u00e6stinas Plads\u201d will be given to the square in N\u00f8rrebro between Esromgade, N\u00f8rrebrogade and Hiller\u00f8dgade, and according to the spokesman for the Radical Party, as reported by TV2, they have sent the sign to be printed in preparation for the new name \u201cPal\u00e6stinas Plads\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The political parties that voted in favor of the resolution \u2013 Enhedslisten, SF, Det Radikale Venstre and Alternativet \u2013 are the same parties that submitted a proposal last October to name the area in N\u00f8rrebro Pal\u00e6stinas Plads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
