With a Danish-Arab presence, the Arab community celebrated on Thursday evening the exhibition of visual artist Hawraa Al-Khazraji entitled \u201cAn Iraqi Night\u201d, in coordination with the public library in the suburb of Albertslund.
In her exhibition, the artist\u2019s paintings competed in their beauty and detail, and their joy was felt by all those present.  
Each painting that Hawraa has created tells a story from the heritage. One painting sings \u201dMajina Ya Majina\u201d about a woman gathering the children around her, and another painting smells of Eid trays and teapots, so that her brush contributes to drawing stories of the traditions of a country that derives its beauty and authenticity from its women.
The Iraqi woman stands like a palm tree, surrounded by gardens of color in every window that Hawraa opens for us.  
For its part, Iraqi song was present, embodying each scene with a song from authentic Iraqi folklore. When the marshes sing:
\u201cOh fisherman, catch me a little girl,\u201d the boatman replies with the rest of the song, until the balconies appear, humming:
\u201cMihana Mihana\u201d
The Iraqi abaya dances, \u201cOur sweet sun has set, and we haven\u2019t seen it.\u201d.
The audience applauded, chanting \u201dWelcome, Baba, welcome!\u201d and expressions of joy were evident on the wicker plates as they invited the visitor to eat \u201cKleicha\u201d with cups of fragrant tea.
The evening was an \u201cIraqi afternoon\u201d as our childhood remembers it, so thank you to Hawraa for opening the doors to a world of memories whose roots extend to the land of blackness.   
 
The Iraqi consul in Denmark and a group of Iraqi writers, academics and representatives of cultural and community associations attended the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
