According to the government, the so-called new Health Commission consists of a chairman and eight members, who must present a completely new structure for health services by 2024. Two other experts will also work alongside the commission, with the aim of examining how to ensure improved wages and working conditions for employees, and how to attract more employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the government, the need is mainly due to staff shortages, outdated systems, and an increasing number of patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both Prime Minister Mette Hrappa and Moderate Party leader Lars L\u00f8kke Rasmussen pointed out at the press conference that the Danish healthcare system is generally good and that there have been significant improvements in recent decades, but they still believe that the healthcare system needs to be rethought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the government, the primary task of the new health commission is to prepare a decision-making basis that sets models for future financing of health services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The government identified eight points that the committee should consider in more detail, and the committee&#039;s recommendations and assessments should cover the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Regional structure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A framework for municipal health and prevention efforts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The interaction between the specialized hospital healthcare system and the local healthcare system in municipalities and general practitioners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organizing and managing general practitioners that supports increased patient responsibility and enhanced task performance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Funding and incentive structures, as well as culture and management in the healthcare system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordination of quality development in healthcare<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Systems for digital solutions and IT infrastructure in the healthcare system that support the deployment of shared solutions and the seamless exchange of digital information across sectors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A regulation that supports free choice and patient rights, and ensures the most appropriate use of private actors as part of the public healthcare system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The committee must complete its work with a single comprehensive report in the spring of
