The official told TV2, \u201cWe shouldn\u2019t act as judges in our advice and guidance, speaking for or against female genital mutilation. That\u2019s up to the parents. Anti-circumcision stance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n When the municipality of Ballerup adopted the new policy in November 2021, the municipality's starting point was to encourage parents in the municipality not to allow their young children to be circumcised for religious or cultural reasons.
