Nets, the operator of the Nem-ID login system, is experiencing major operational disruptions for the third day in a row, meaning that hundreds of thousands of Danes have been unable to log in to skat.dk, borger, e-Boks, Corona documents necessary for travel and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In an interview with TV2, Peter James Stark, head of public affairs for Nets in Europe, answered one of the questions by saying, \u201cWe can clearly say that we will see significant improvements in the coming days, so we also encourage all Danes to continue trying to log in.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In response to another question, \u201cWhat if someone deliberately targeted these systems? Then you could bring the entire country down. Can you properly protect Danes?\u201d Peter James Starke replied, \u201cWe hope so, and that\u2019s what we\u2019ve been doing. We have excellent cooperation with the authorities in the field of cybersecurity. This error isn\u2019t caused by outsiders. We all agree that this is serious. I also want to emphasize that over the next few days we will see significant improvements.\u201d He added, \u201cWe would like to confirm that we have now reduced the number of affected systems to approximately 10%, which is serious.
