The Prime Minister's Office has called a press conference tonight at 6:30 PM regarding the new coronavirus restrictions. The Epidemics Committee has submitted a set of recommendations to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus and the new variant, Omicron. The government cannot adopt any of these recommendations without a vote of approval from the parliamentary parties. In this regard, the parliamentary parties are meeting this afternoon at 12:15 PM to discuss the new recommendations. However, the Unity List, the Socialist People's Party, and the Radical Party have indicated that they will follow the recommendations of the authorities, and the government will also choose to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closure of nightlife includes nightclubs and discos, where the focus is on whether there is a dance floor.
Restaurants (and their indoor and outdoor spaces) should be closed from midnight until 05:00 am, and during the same period it is recommended to prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages.
Masks or face coverings are required for both guests and staff in restaurants, with the exception of seated guests and staff with valid Coronapas.
Gatherings of more than 50 guests standing at concerts, shows and the like are prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is recommended that schools close from the 15th of this month until the 4th of January.
SFO, which includes after-school activities, care, and other recreational activities, will also be closed during the same period.
Care is provided, if necessary, to students affected by the closure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
