The past 24 hours have been bloody in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, and its suburbs, following two shootings in the middle of the day in succession in the N\u00f8rrebro area of Copenhagen and in R\u00f8dovre, west of Copenhagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police in Copenhagen's western region wrote on Twitter this afternoon that they had a large presence in Islevbrovej in R\u00f8dovre following serious shooting incidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police later reported that three people were injured in the shooting at a hair salon, and a young man was later pronounced dead at the hospital. His identity has not yet been determined, and therefore his family has not yet been notified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the shooting incidents, West Copenhagen police stated tonight that areas in R\u00f8dovre and Herlev will be designated from today until the 17th of this month where police in those areas have the right to physically search any person without giving reasons.
