Passengers arriving from either airport must now undergo a COVID-19 test upon arrival in Denmark, and those who fail to comply will be subject to a fine.<\/li><li>The allocation of these two airports was based on the fact that they are transit hubs for passengers from South Africa.<\/li><li>Currently, 7 people have been confirmed to be infected with the new variant, and there are 16 other suspected cases that are being investigated.<\/li><li>S\u00f8ren Brostr\u00f6m, director of the State Serum Institute, urges all parents to accept the invitation to vaccinate their children to reduce the spread of infection.<\/li><li>The list of red countries has been updated and now includes 10 African countries.<\/li><li>There are currently indications that the new variant interacts differently with coronavirus vaccines, but the vaccines remain effective in combating the disease.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The number of infections is expected to continue rising in the coming days.<\/li><li>\u00a0Coronavirus case numbers in hospitals were fairly stable over the past week.<\/li><li>Stricter measures have been taken to limit the spread of the new variant, including isolation requirements for the infected person, contacts of the infected person, and contacts of contacts of the infected person, in addition to the requirement to conduct a PCR test on the first, fourth, and sixth days for all the aforementioned categories.<\/li><li>The Danish healthcare system is under pressure due to the coronavirus and a shortage of nurses.<\/li><li>Many countries across Europe are moving closer to making the coronavirus vaccine mandatory, but Denmark is far from that, according to the Prime Minister. She says, \u201cOf course, we see what is happening in other countries around us, but from our side, we would like the individual to make the decision.
