Two of the men are accused of traveling to Syria to join ISIS. One of them, along with four other men, is accused of sending money to ISIS or individuals associated with the organization, according to the prosecution.
The six men are aged 37, 32, 31, 30, 29 and 28.
Three of the men are facing charges of violating parts of Article 114 of the Danish Penal Code, an article relating to terrorism. For all six men, the sentence could be up to 12 years in prison.
During a constitutional hearing in April of last year, five men appeared before a judge and were accused of violations that occurred nine years prior. The prosecution cannot currently confirm whether this is the same period covered by the current indictment.
The two men, aged 30 and 32, have been in custody since their constitutional hearing in April, while the men aged 37, 31, and 29 were released again. The 28-year-old was not imprisoned in the case, which is being heard in Aarhus court.
The prosecution did not specify the number of days allocated to the case, but it will begin on September 1st and end on November 16th of this year.
