Historically, many immigrants from non-Western backgrounds have held jobs in Denmark, according to figures from Statistics Denmark.

The figures indicate that 58.7% of non-Western immigrants aged 15 to 64 were employed in paid jobs in the first quarter of 2022, the highest percentage ever measured.
