Mette Frederiksen, speaking at her party's conference a short while ago: This is what requires strict laws and strict immigration policies.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen stated during a conference of her Social Democratic Party, currently being held in Aalborg, that the government is working on reforming the penal code, focusing on laws related to crime and violence linked to immigration, gangs, the involvement of young Swedes, and honor crimes—which, from the government's perspective, are naturally linked to families from the Middle East. She has already established a center to combat the culture of honor among immigrants and their descendants.

She stated that this requires strict laws and strict immigration policies.

These were among five other topics that formed the main themes of Mette Frederiksen’s speech at her Social Democratic Party conference: the welfare society, the Green Tripartite Agreement, crime resulting from immigration, Russia and the need to stop its dictates at the borders within Europe, continuing the struggle for Arne’s pension, and she also touched on the party’s achievements, including increasing salaries for some working groups in Denmark.

This conference comes a year after the Social Democratic Party's historically poor results in the European parliamentary elections and after a very significant drop in the popularity of its party and the government in general in opinion polls in Denmark.

During the conference, Mette Frederiksen asked for support from party members and voters so that she could continue her political work in the next stage, regardless of whether she was in government or in opposition. It appears from this that she insists on continuing her political work regardless of the decline in the popularity of her party, which she leads, according to polls published by several local media outlets during the past period.
