وفقاً لوزارة الأجانب والاندماج فإن “مقياس الاندماج” يتم عامه العاشر اليوم. وأفادت الوزارة بأن الأمور تسير على نحو أفضل مع اندماج الأجانب (المهاجرين وأحفادهم) في الدنمارك، وبحسب نتائج “مقياس الاندماج” فهناك تطور فيما يتعلق بأهداف الاندماج خلال 10 سنوات.

The most positive development has been in the field of education, as recent years have seen a significant increase in the number of immigrants aged 25 to 39 and their descendants of non-Western origin who grew up in Denmark and received higher education, with the proportion rising from 26% in 2012 to 41% in 2021.
Developments for some of the other targets in the scale also show that the proportion of young people of non-Western origin who have committed crimes has decreased, and that fewer young immigrants and grandchildren of non-Western origin are experiencing restrictions on self-determination over their private lives.
On the other hand, two targets have shown negative development since 2012: Danish skills and citizenship. New figures for 2022 show that the proportion of immigrants and their descendants of non-Western origin who reported being members of an association has decreased from 54% in 2012 to 47% in 2022. Over the past ten years, participation in associations has also declined for people of Danish origin.
