A man was killed in Randers with a knife, and police arrested two people on suspicion of murder.

A 43-year-old man died last night after being stabbed in an apartment in Pontoppidansgade in Randers, according to East Jutland police.

The police received the report at 2:14 a.m. today, and the police and an ambulance arrived at the apartment and found the 43-year-old man had passed away.

Two men, aged 37 and 39, were in the apartment and were arrested and charged with premeditated murder.

According to a press release by Deputy Police Inspector Lennart Gellerup, it is still unclear what happened in the apartment and who carried the knife. What the police know so far is that the 43-year-old man was in the apartment with two acquaintances. There is nothing in the initial investigations to indicate the presence of other people. Several interrogations will be carried out, in addition to technical investigations, to clarify the operation.

A constitutional inquiry into the matter is expected to take place on Friday afternoon.
