According to Ritsau, citing DR, the Danish Consumer Council found small amounts of the hormone-disrupting substance BPA in five out of 12 Danish-made pacifiers, even though they were labeled as BPA-free.
According to the source, BPA, which stands for bisphenol A, is an endocrine disruptor that can harm fertility and weaken the immune system.
Tænk's testing manager, Stine Müller, confirms that these are small amounts of BPA, so there is no need to worry if you are using a pacifier containing this substance for your child.
