The 11-year-old boy was sexually assaulted twice in one month near the same road in Hobro.
North Jutland police on Thursday asked the public for help in solving a case in which a boy was assaulted twice in Hobro. Police said in a press release that this led to the identification of a suspect who is now charged with the assaults.

Two attacks on the same road
Police stated that the two attacks occurred a month ago. The first attack took place on Tuesday, November 15, at approximately 4 p.m., when the perpetrator encountered the boy on the road between Hohøje and Smedevej in Hobro.
The next assault occurred a month later, on December 15 at around 2:30 p.m., when the boy was walking on the same road. When the perpetrator arrived at the scene, he lured the 11-year-old to Hobro Boligforening nearby and assaulted him.
Police Commissioner Carsten Strasek, in reference to the appeal made to the public on Thursday, said it was a very serious case involving the gross sexual assault of an 11-year-old victim.
North Jutland police continue to encourage citizens who may have seen or heard anything in connection with the assaults or have other information in the case to contact the police via telephone number 114.
