Starting Monday, November 1st, the new police system will come into effect, in which the police prioritize a number of specific tasks, meaning that the police must move immediately to be at the scene within 10 minutes if there are reports of the following:
- Reporting a robbery
- Selling drugs at school
- Report of violence
- Report of rape
ووفقا لوزير العدل نيك هيكروب فإن الهدف أن يتم تطبيق نفس الإجراء على كل أشكال الجرائم، ولكن تم اختيار هذه الجرائم الأربعة كبداية “لأنها تؤثر إلى حد كبير على سلامة الناس” وسيتم تخصيص المزيد من الأموال للشرطة وسيتم تدريب المزيد من الضباط. وتأتي هذه الخطوة بعد أن أفادت تقارير بأن هناك شعور بانعدام الأمن لدى السكان في بعض المناطق في الدنمارك.
