Zaytouna Scouts launched a scout union in Denmark during a meeting attended by a delegation from the Danish Scout Federation and representatives from the municipality of Aarhus. The new union is concerned with children and young people, both male and female, from the Arab and Muslim communities in Denmark, and aims to promote identity and belonging, refine talents, develop capabilities, and introduce nature, through scouting work represented by weekly activities and periodic scout camps held throughout the year.
ويجدر بالذكر أن كشافة زيتونة تأسست عام 2018 ومنذ ذلك الحين حققت نجاحات كبيرة أشاد بها رئيس البلدية في مدينة أورهوس وشخصيات سياسية بارزة في الدنمارك، حيث كان أبرزها فوز كشافة زيتونة بلقب “أفضل مؤسسة عمل تطوعي” عام 2020 على صعيد محافظة Midtjylland والتي تضم أكثر مليون نسمة.
The Zeitouna Scout Union currently includes approximately 300 scouts, including leaders and members, through three active branches currently operating across Denmark. Work is currently underway to establish four more branches, bringing the total number of Zeitouna Scout centers to seven across Denmark.
