A court in Glostrup sentenced a 47-year-old man from Taastrup to one year in prison and deportation after he was found guilty of severe psychological abuse against his ex-wife and violence against children.
According to a police statement, the 47-year-old man was convicted of subjecting the woman to highly degrading behavior over several years, including dictating how she should dress and who she should communicate with, as well as controlling her finances and browsing her phone.
The man was also accused of subjecting the children to psychological violence, and he was also accused of subjecting the woman and her children to repeated incidents of violence.
