Electricity is cheap today across the country, and tomorrow, Saturday, it may drop even further... This is the cost

As the day progresses, electricity prices are falling across the country, and they may fall even further tomorrow, Saturday.

ففي صباح اليوم الجمعة بلغ إنتاج الطاقة المتجددة حوالي 84% من إجمالي الاستهلاك، مما يعني أن الكثير من الكهرباء لليوم هي كهرباء “خضراء”.

On Friday afternoon, the cost per kilowatt-hour will be just over 20 ora (0.20 kroner), thanks to the winds which have driven the wind turbines to produce larger amounts of energy, in addition to some energy produced by the solar panels in relatively small amounts due to the clouds.

As the day progresses, the winds will increase even more, and solar cells will also produce more energy, thus increasing green energy production even further.

Public holidays also contribute to reducing energy consumption demand, as holidays are often reflected in lower energy consumption than regular weekdays, which means that demand is also decreasing, thus helping to lower prices.

As for tomorrow, Saturday, it appears that the winds will increase further, and at the same time, larger quantities of electricity may be produced from the solar panels.
