أعلنت منطقة العاصمة الدنماركية أن أول جرعات لقاح كورونا تم إعطاؤها لطفل في الفئة العمرية من 5 – 11 عاماً صباح اليوم الأحد الساعة 09.20، وذلك في Amager Vaccination Centre.
According to Helen Dossing, acting deputy director of emergency preparedness for the capital region, all 50 times that the region launched on Sunday were reserved for children aged 5-11.
The State Serum Institute also stated that 135,000 vaccination invitations were sent to the target group on Friday, via email to parents, where they could book an appointment to vaccinate their children against the coronavirus.
Sunday vaccination appointments have been allocated for older children in the target age group. Invitations will be sent next week to children aged 7 to 9, while children aged 5 to 6 will be invited starting December 6. A parent must accompany the child when receiving the vaccine.
According to the authorities, there are 431,256 children in the 5-11 age group, which is the age group that Danish health authorities announced at a press conference on Friday that they are targeting within the Corona vaccination system in Denmark.
