The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has just released a statement which reads:
The situation on the ground in Israel is extremely dangerous. More than 4,500 rockets have been fired at Israel since Saturday, and many Danes remain in the country. There are currently about 1,200 people on the Danish list for Israel and 90 for Palestine. Opportunities to travel alone still exist, but they are diminishing. For example, Norwegian Air announced yesterday that it will suspend all flights to Israel until December.
Therefore, the government will offer to evacuate Danish citizens from Israel and Palestine. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating the evacuation process, which will begin in the coming days. Specifically, work is currently underway to arrange for special flights to the region to transport the Danes.
The eviction offer applies to Danish citizens and those with permanent residency in Denmark. The eviction is at your own expense and is voluntary if you wish to accept the offer.
