The government is presenting a draft proposal for a “Safer Denmark” project, and these are its four main points.

Delinquent children and adolescents:

• Children and young people aged 10 to 17 should be prohibited from entering train stations, shopping centers, and other public places if they cause a security breach, such as committing offenses, thefts, or acts of violence. They should also be restricted from leaving their homes during certain periods, such as evening hours. Furthermore, these children and young people should be required to compensate for any damage they cause. For example, they should be required to participate in mediating a conflict or cleaning up after vandalism.
  If the children do not meet the requirements, according to the rules imposed on them, the parents will be deprived of financial allowances for children and young people (børnepenge) and will also be deducted from any housing compensation. 
  In addition, the proposal will impose further demands on parents who have children who exhibit so-called insecure behavior; for example, parents will be required to accompany their children to school or participate in a parenting program.
• Financial oversight of juvenile delinquents
  As part of the punishment for children and adolescents who commit offenses, the proposed bill stipulates empowering the authorities to exercise financial oversight, so that the financial affairs of the convicted juvenile are subject to a period of monitoring by the Danish Prison Service and supervision, and follow-up conversations with the young person regarding financial matters.
• nightlife
  Banning so-called show driving in nightlife areas, where people who may be associated with gang environments roam around in cars. .

Requirements for authorized guards in nightlife areas with the aim of removing troublemakers from nightlife areas

The purchase of alcohol in shops is prohibited between midnight and 05:00 am in party areas.

• Train stations are secured with guards and surveillance cameras.
