The number of company bankruptcies in Denmark rose to a record high in November 2022, with 331 companies with employees going bankrupt, according to a calculation based on information from Statstidende carried out by eStatistik for the business association SMEVdanmark.

The sectors most affected are companies operating in the fields of construction, trade, services, and the hotel and restaurant industry.
Denmark's major banks' forecasts for development
Finans Danmark asked Denmark’s seven largest banks about their growth forecasts, and six of the seven banks predicted that more business customers would need bank assistance, including new loans, in the winter, with four banks expecting loan figures to rise significantly.
