أقام مقهى إينانا الثقافي إحتفالية بمناسبة يوم المرأة العالمي وذلك في يوم السبت المصادف ١١ مارس/آذار 2023 في العاصمة كوبنهاجن. افتتحت الحفل رئيسة الجمعية السيدة سارة سامي بكلمة حثَّت بها النساء على التكاتف فيما بينهن وركزت على أهمية دور الأسرة بزرع ثقافة المساواة بين الجنسين. هذا وقد كرَّمت الجمعية أكاديميات عربيات من بينهُّن السيدة أسماء عباس مؤسسة منصة Denmark 24 والتي تحدثت عن تجربتها الإعلامية والعلمية المُلهمة، كما وتم استضافة وتكريم الباحثة والكاتبة د. فاطمة الزهراء الأطرقجي حيث سُلِّط الضَّوء على مسيرتها الأكاديمية والأدبية الباهرة والمُكللة بالنجاحات والتكريمات.
The event featured a performance by the Palestinian folk heritage group Ghosn Al-Zaytoun, who captivated the audience with their folk and traditional arts. The Iraqi musical tradition was then showcased by the Ur Heritage Group, who delighted the audience with songs from authentic Iraqi folklore.
The event featured a variety of artistic performances, including an art exhibition by Palestinian artist Nidaa Murad and Iraqi artist Hawraa Al-Khazraji, and an exhibition of Palestinian handicrafts and national costumes curated by Amal Rabah. The exhibition was further enhanced by the works of Iraqi artist Nabil Ali, who generously donated the rights to his prints and artifacts from Baghdad to support the event. Finally, the evening was enlivened by Danish dancers Heidi and Lisa, who performed belly dancing and Gypsy dance to enthusiastic applause from the audience.
The ceremony was attended by a large gathering of women from the Arab and Kurdish communities, as well as a select group of academics and writers.
